Advice:
In order to move ahead in life, sometimes it is necessary to forget the past, especially if it hinders our ability to move forward. The most you should take from the past is what it's taught you, use what you've learned to your advantage. It's time to abandon what cannot be changed.

Warnings:
The Erase warns us not to fall victim to our problems. Giving up is the easy way out of a situation. And if we give up, we've lost the battle. The Erase could also signify possibility of the end of the relationship because one of the partners is unwilling to compromise and so they decide to give up. If you are that partner, perhaps it's time to think of what's best for the both of you instead of what's best for you. Make sure sure you make these decisions with your partner instead of for them.

My spouse and I have been going through a rocky time and it seems like they just don't want to try and work it out anymore. Will our relationship end up dying?

Like mentioned above in the warnings, The Erase could mean that your partner wants to give up. They have lost faith in the relationship and doesn't believe it is worth saving. At this rate, if no action is taken, the chances of failure are high. If this card is part of a spread, take a look at the accompanying cards to see what you need to do. For example, if it is accompanied by The Arrow and The Earthy it is advising you to not lose focus and try to express how you feel about the situation.

If the card is used alone it is advising you to make your best judgement, how will leaving or staying with this person affect you? It may or may not be time to move on.
