When shopping for Clow Card decks, it's important to keep in mind that there are slight variations from deck to deck, which included color scheme, size, packaging, and the cards included (see below), these variations may also be a tip off to counterfeit and unofficial decks. One of the main variations that you might come cross are Clow Cards and Sakura Cards*, although they are generally referred to as Clow Cards.
What's the difference, you ask? It has to do with anime, but for purchasing purposes they are essentially the same except for a few physical
differences. Clow Cards (on the left) are generally gold and red in color (on the back), while Sakura Cards (on the right) are pink and have Sakura written on the bottom of every card. The insignia on the backs are different too. However, they both have the same designs. Also, it should be noted that Clow Card decks generally have the 52 main cards, although 55 cards appeared in the series. The three extra cards are The Nothing/The Void, The Hope and The Nameless and are usually not included in most decks (but I will include meanings for them anyways).
*Please note that Sakura Cards (stand alone) are usually unofficially produced decks, but please correct me if I'm wrong. However there is an electronic Sakura Card set and Clow Book.

Do you mean purple? Unless you're talking about the design on the back. ^^ Maybe the front / back design / color matter should be clarified a bit.
Technically, there are a total of 53 Clow / Sakura cards (54 at the most in one point of time in the series, but in the end it goes back to just 53). The Nothing / Void and The Nameless cards have never been included in any set, although I have heard of / seen counterfeit printings on eBay. The Hope card is the only card that's ever been printed officially, and was included in the Bandai Sakura Card Pouch set.
And yes, there are 2 official Sakura Card sets--the one I mentioned above, and the electronic book you mentioned in your post (also made by Bandai).
Yes, I meant the backing of the cards were gold/red in color since the front is different. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Yes, I too have seen those card included in the counterfeit decks on ebay. I'll include them in my meanings just in case anyone happens to have one. ^_^
